Who Am I...

My name is Israel Carlos Lomovasky.I was born in Buenos Aires,Argentina in 1949. In 1972 I migrated to Israel with my parents and sisters .I lived in many cities and some kibbutzim since then(Acco,Haifa,Givataim,and now in Hetzlyia,and the kibutzim Gan Shmuel and Dafna).
My education was mostly in Industrial Engineering(BSc Technion,Haifa),in Maths and Economics(MSC in Operations Research from the London School of Economics and political sciences) and in planning(DSC in city and regional planning from the Architectural Faculty of the technion,Haifa).
While studying for my Doctor's degree in Urbanism I took several art and design courses from the Architecture BA program in the technion.There I discovered the plastic arts and falled in love with them.
I lived in London one year (1976-1977) and In New York city eight years(1984-1992) I am divoced plus one.
I am a free-lance consultant in Operations Research and specialize in the stock market,as well as a sculptor and a painter.
I made one single artist exhibition in the Efrat gallery at Gordon street in tel aviv in 1999, and took part in a multiple artists exhibition in the same gallery two years later.
Currently I do bent acrylic and bent oil painted acrylic,sculptures,as well as oil on canvas paintings,sometimes combined with painted acrylic work.
